NFL star Puka Nacua has been praised by fans after appearing to snub signing a rival jersey.

The Los Angeles Rams rookie was filmed signing autographs for fans during this weekend's Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

Nacua was one of the stories of the NFL in 2023 as he smashed records throughout his rookie campaign.

The wideout racked up the most yards ever recorded in a debut season, as well as the most receptions.

Puka made his first Pro Bowl appearance as he played for the NFC in the Sunshine State.

Fans of teams across the NFL were keen to bag an autograph from one of the league's most exciting young players.

One tried their luck with a Deebo Samuel jersey, dangling it from the stands in Orlando as Puka waited with a sharpie.

The 22-year-old hesitated after seeing the uniform was not the Rams but their rivals the San Francisco 49ers.

"That's tough, but it's alright," he was heard to say as he appeared to sign the top.

But as the fan dragged the jersey back up into the stands, a viral video appeared to show there wasn't an autograph in sight.

He helped the NFC to a 64-59 win over the AFC in Florida.
