BIOGRAPHY
When she was 12 years old and practicing rowing at the Alas de Tigre club, Ornella D’Elía went to the casting for the film Tigre (2017) without having any previous experience in acting and was selected for the role of Melina, for whose preparation she received the help of an acting coach. She later appeared in some short films and at the age of 14 she was selected to star in the film Los somámbulos (2019) by Paula Hernández. D’Elia’s performance was praised by specialized critics and she was awarded the best actress award at several film festivals. She made her television debut in the Telefe soap opera Grandes Victoria (2019), and in 2020, she made her first leading role in theater alongside Joaquín Reficco in the musical Instructions to teach my pink elephant to fly at the General San Martín Cultural Center . Now we can see her in The Weirdest Girl in the World (2021), where D’Elia played Tamara, a teenager who bullies the protagonist.
